Brief Summary on Wild Tongkat Ali roots

As there are already many very well written articles about what Tongkat Ali is, I will only give a brief summary here. To know more, please google it, or wait for future posts where we will go in depth into this amazing herb
The scientific name of this plant is Eurycoma longifolia, also known as Long Jack, and is found in Southeast Asia. It is the root of this plant that is used as the incredible herbal booster for virility and remedy for several ailments. It has been used as a secret local traditional recipe for generations, and only known to the rest of the world recently.
Here is a list of benefits of this herb:
  • Increase sexual prowess, gives incredible erections
  • Prevents immature ejaculation in men
  • Increase level of testosterone in men
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Anti-malaria agent
  • Strengthen immune system
  • Increase energy levels, endurance and stamina
  • Improves mental focus
  • anti-cancer agent
The Tongkat Ali pills and extracts you find in the marketplace these days are mostly made from cultivated roots (please see my earlier post on wild vs. cultivated). To give you an idea, we would need 1kg of cultivated Tongkat Ali to make 1-2 grams of Tongkat Ali extract, whereas, we would only need about 50 grams of WILD Tongkat Ali to do the same job. I will post more on this topic in the near future. Thank you.
